the Sail Innovation Hobie Wild Cat Team composed of Olivier Backes and Arnaud Jarlegan is the new 2010 F18 World Champion. A high level competition with the participation of the top F18 sailors from all over the world. Nothing was really made before the last race. The Wild Cat takes 4 places in the top ten among a fleet of over 150 boats that entered the race. Congratulations to the champions.

D-34 for the Hobie Cat 16 Worlds in China. The Hobie 16 is the only multihull class that organises and races a separate Youth and Women World Championship. Please support the multihull class that supports youth and women. | | Remember to enter before the 14th July to save money. The entry fee will increase after the 14th July. The server is set at 10+GMT. So please don’t leave this to the last minute and then get charged extra. The entry list for the worlds will be on the web site soon. The F18 North Sea Championship, organised by the RBSC Duinbergen on 26 and 27 June was won by the Belgian Team Francis et Michel Proot on Hobie Wild Cat. The 3rd place is taken by the Hobie Wild Cat of Demesmaeker and Koopman and the 5th position by the Wild Cat of Nicolas and Jérôme Spilleboudt. |

Propulsion and Hobie Cat Europe organise with the participation of Jean Christophe Mourniac a training session before the Raid Emeraude on 19 and 20 June 2010 at Yacht Club de Saint-Lunaire (Brittanny). Program : Saturday 19 June, starting at 10 h tuning of the boats. 14 h sailing , speed test and advices for all boats. 19 h debriefing and apero.
Sunday 20th June : starting at 11 h sailing and race training. 15 h debriefing and tactical aspect of the regatta.

Thomas Poulsen has passed away and the whole Hobie planet is sad and shares his family's and friends' pain. Thomas was a former President of the IHCA and the longest serving president of the EHCA. We wish to remember him for his long life support of Hobie Cat and in particular the youth sailing, his warm and entertaining character, | | his dedication to others and to our sport.
