The best of the two modern performance cat worlds : Formula 18 racing, and the ISAF recognised Hobie Tiger International Class. The Hobie Tiger, nearing 1 000 units worldwide, has active fleet racing on 4 continents.
On the open regatta side, the Hobie Tiger has won at least once all great F18 regatta: - Round Texel (1995, 2001, 2003) - Eurocat (1996 - 2002 - 2003) - F18 European championships (1999) - F18 world championships (2000, 2001 & 2002) - F18 Vice World Champion (2003). |
on the class regatta side, already 3 Hobie Tiger world championships have been organised with great success. The last one was held in Singapore in February 2003. |
