The Hobie Cat 16 has been the best selling sport catamaran in the world ever since its creation in 1971. With more than 100 000 owners all over the world, the Hobie Cat 16 had become a legend, with its famous banana shaped hulls. It could be said that waves were invented just for her, and you cannot talk about sport catamarans if you have never sailed a Hobie 16.
All over the world, Hobie 16s are made available for championships. With its asymmetrical spinnaker the Hobie Cat 16 has been chosen by ISAF for the ISAF Youth World Championships
